Judges and mentors

The people who will see your project.

Judges score every project in the 16:30 judging round, then pick the winners after the finalist demos. Mentors help teams during the build.

Profile

More judges and mentors will be announced as they confirm. Sponsors at Dragon and Track level each take a judging seat.

How projects are scored

  1. 25

    Working prototype

It runs, on a phone or in a browser, and does what the team says it does.

  2. 25

    User experience

Someone who has never seen it can use it.

  3. 25

    Technical depth

Solana, or the sponsor’s technology for a sponsored track, is used for a real reason.

  4. 25

    Pitch and potential

A clear problem, a clear user and a reason to keep building.

Keeping it fair

  • Judges declare any conflict of interest and step out of scoring that project.
  • Sponsor judges use the same criteria as everyone else.
  • Only projects with a public GitHub repository at code freeze are judged.
